Raw Beauty Reaches Out Through The Project Angel Food Organization

We cannot tell you how honored we are to be apart of the Project Angel Food Fundraising Event this year. Project Angel Food Cooks and Delivers over 1200 meals per day to families who are struggling with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. Raw Beauty has generously donated $1400 worth of Raw Beauty products to help raise money for this wonderful cause.

The Event "Shop in The Name of Love" is going to be held November 30th- December 5th at the Barker Hanger Airport in Santa Monica, California. One of Project Angel Food's client profiles touched our hearts. Sharon has been receiving meals and nutritional assistance from Project Angel Food for over two years. Her chronic illness was beginning to interfere with her ability to care for her children, Janayn, 15 and Muneer, 11. "I didn't want to burden my children and make them grow up too quickly by giving them the responsibility of cooking because I was too sick to cook," Sharon says. She asserts that the nutritional components of Project Angel Food meals, specifically designed for each client, make all the difference. Big fans of our frozen meals, Sharon and her family enjoy the flexibility of once-a-week delivery and the security of knowing that if she is sick, there are nutritional meals ready to be cooked in the freezer.
