Cappuccino Cheesecake Recipe For the Holidays
Tis' The Season for Yummy Desserts...and have we got the yummiest recipe for you! As you may know, I went to culinary school back in the day. One of my favorite dessert recipes was this Cappuccino Cheesecake. I am very picky about my cheesecake also, because I do not like it to be too rich (then I don't get to enjoy it). This recipe will knock your socks off with it's wonderful flavoring. Not too rich, but oh so delightful.
1-1/4 Cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
1/4 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 ounces butter, melted
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup espresso, strong brewedInstructions: Prepare crust by combining the crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 10" springform pan. Beat the creamcheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the espresso, beating until smooth. Pour filling onto the crust. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool Overnight. Serve with whipped cream topped with cinnamon and cocoa powder (if desired).
